Certified Veterinary Technician
Lori graduated from Purdue University in 1983 with a Veterinary Technology degree. Since graduating, Lori has worked in small animal medicine as a technician in Indiana, Illinois, New Mexico and Minnesota. She even did a full-time stint at the Albuquerque Zoo for four months. In recent years, she has focused on gaining behavior education. A highlight each month for her is running the Puppy Parties and Kitten Preschool for clients with their new furry family members. Lori is a current member of the Society of Veterinary Behavior Technicians
She joined the staff in November of 2001 as a part-time CVT and still a full-time mom. These days she treasures time spent with her grown kids with Abby living in South Africa and Brody who still resides in the Twin Cities. Besides her work at BPPH, she enjoys horseback riding, agility and obedience classes with her two Australian Shepherds, writing, and traveling with her husband, Tom. She is certified as a therapy dog team with her dog, Tucker, with TDI (Therapy Dogs International.).
